  • 8,000 inspiring Torchbearers will have an opportunity to take centre stage; each with a story of personal achievement or contribution to their local community

  • 8,000 miles is the estimated total distance the Olympic Flame will travel either in Relay or in convoy (driving and other modes of transport)
