The programme in the afternoon included two special workshops for schools and colleges from across the West Midlands delivered by the Education Team from the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG). They highlighted the opportunities for schools and colleges to get involved in London 2012 and bring the Games to life in the classroom through the Get Set programme (www.london2012.com/getset). The team also offered examples of what schools across the country are already doing, discussed how to join the Get Set network and linked ideas to the curriculum.
